QUOTE
ā€œTrained behavior becomes boring habits. Boring habits become elite instincts.ā€
PJ Fleck

Always remember that the process is the prize.

Focus on daily habitsā€”done wellā€”over time.

Be relentlessly persistent in your daily habits.

Habits win!

WISDOM
Honesty from others does not tear down your identity.

Honesty actually helps us get stronger in our anointing.

But we have to be strong enough to ask for it, not just receive it.

The best leaders are the best learners, and they donā€™t just wait for feedback - they obsess over getting it.

Itā€™s easier to accept refinement of our craft when weā€™re used to being refined internally in our character.

ā€œIf you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise. If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding.ā€ (Proverbs 15:30-31 NLT)

ACTION
Upgrade your note-taking skills.

This is for all the physical note-takers (like myself).

According to Sam, here is the formula:

  1. Get a spiral notebook (to be able to rip pages out/lay flat on a table)

  2. Make sure the paper has the right ā€œfeelā€ (any avid note-taker knows what he is talking about)

  3. The front and back of the notebook should be hardcover

  4. Get a notebook size that can fit in your pocket

  5. Get the Uni-Ball Micro 0.5mm pen

There you have it.
