We know that real progress usually happens on the tough days, not just the ones when you feel good.

To me, being an elite man, husband, and father means choosing to show up and tackle what's in front of me, no matter how exhausted or stressed I am. 

It's about commitment and resilience, especially on the days when I just want to sit and do nothing.

By doing this, we teach ourselves and those around us the value of sticking with it, no matter what.

Check out Marc Randolph’s definition of success. Marc was the co-founder of Netflix and six other companies.

I often feel busy and sometimes stressed, but compared to co-founding a now-$280 billion company, my schedule seems manageable.

In all seriousness, I love seeing stories like this from successful businessmen who prioritize their family and their marriage.

It puts things in perspective for me—especially when I think I have a lot going on/too tired to be present for my wife and/or kids.

At the end of the day, whether you're the co-founder of Netflix or a touring musician, we all face the same decision: choosing what truly matters to us.
