Why this matters: It is 2025. It is time to make room for the new. Take what you learned from 2024—the good, the bad, and the ugly—and turn it into something great. The days are long but the years are short. No regrets this year. Stay curious, stay humble, and lock in!

Why this matters: It is easy to get excited about resolutions and how you are going to do things differently this year. But what happens when the excitement wears off? Or when you are tired, stressed, fearful, or unhappy? That, my friends, is where the work starts and where real growth happens.

Action: Focus on 1-3 things to go after this year.

Why this matters: The number of times I have written out a long list of things I want to accomplish in the new year is astounding. What I realized I have been missing is keeping it narrow, simple, and focused. Then I will break those up into daily, weekly, and quarterly tasks/milestones. Have those few big goals or categories you want to change this year, and do everything in your power to make it happen through small, achievable actions. Don’t overthink it. Plan, stay organized, stay adaptable, and see what you can do in a year.
